He introduced that he flew to Beijing from the United States on September 1. The next morning, he arrived at the Tiananmen Observatory with the regiment and witnessed the grand military parade with his own eyes. Zhu Gansheng sighed: "Recalling the early days of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the gap between the Chinese and the Japanese army in weapons and equipment was so huge. Today, China has developed into a strong country. I am full of pride in being able to defend itself and face the world with my head held high."

Zhu Gansheng told reporters that during the event, he communicated with overseas Chinese from Europe, Southeast Asia and other places.
