The old cellar of the wine ancestor in Dukang Village, Ruyang was built in the first year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1875). It has a history of 150 years and is known as the "first cellar of the wine ancestor". The Fu Family Wine Zujiu series is brewed with pure grains in ancient methods, and uses the famous Dukang Xuanwu Ancient Spring Water, which is fermented in the mulberry mud cellar that has been passed down for a hundred years, and is stored in a constant temperature cellar for many years. The wine is brewed by Fu Chunsheng, the national liquor judge, Henan Province's chief liquor taster, and wine brewing master. Dai Songcheng, director of Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Industry Development, said: Du Kang, the historical famous wine, is a precious historical and cultural heritage left over from the Chinese nation for thousands of years. Du Kang's beautiful name has been passed down through the ages and is well-known! During the development of Dukang Wine Industry, brand disputes in Ruyang, Yichuan and Baishui have long hindered its overall development, but the integration and strategic adjustments in recent years have laid the foundation for coordinated development. Since the 1980s, the three Dukang wineries, Yichuan, Ruyang and Baishui, have been involved in decades of legal disputes due to trademark ownership issues, resulting in damage to brand value. In 2009, Yichuan and Ruyang Dukang merged to establish Luoyang Dukang Holdings Co., Ltd. to achieve resource integration, but Baishui Dukang still maintains independent operation. The internal strife caused Du Kang to miss the golden development period of the liquor industry, and his market share was squeezed by other brands, relegating from a national brand to a regional brand. This situation of "both losing both sides" urgently needs to be reversed through cooperation. The boundaries of trademark use need to be clarified to avoid repeated historical disputes. From Bai Juyi's comfort in "bringing my glass to drink wine" to Fan Zhongyan's worry in "wine enters my sorrow", wine has become a carrier of emotional catharsis. This tradition of poetry and wine still affects the aesthetic and philosophical expression of Chinese culture. Wine "can be used to carry the way and gather people."
Fu Chunsheng, the national liquor judge and president of Ruyang County Liquor Culture Research Association, published a paper "Development status and countermeasures of the liquor industry". It is analyzed that the liquor industry is in a period of deep adjustment, showing characteristics such as falling volume and price, high inventory, and transformation of consumption structure, but the resilience of leading companies has shown, and low-level, younger and internationalized have become the main trends in the future. The liquor industry is currently showing the coexistence of deep adjustment and structural differentiation. Liquor companies show resilience through channel optimization and product innovation. Rejuvenating consumption, sinking price belts and international layout have become core trends. At the meeting, Zhang Min, head of the cultural relics department of Ruyang County, read out the document Ruzhengwen (2025) No. 15 issued by the Ruyang County People's Government, published the notice that the "Dukang Village Wine Cellar Site" is the third batch of county-level cultural relics protection units in Ruyang County, and awarded a protection plaque to Fushi Wine Industry.
