The roots of Qindong Town are deeply rooted in the profound history of "Tongguan". As the eastern gate of Guanzhong in ancient times, this was once a battleground for military strategists who "one man is at the pass, ten thousand men cannot open": the beacons of Cao Cao's defeat in Tongguan during the Three Kingdoms, the camel bells of the Silk Road caravan during the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and the hustle and bustle of the canal transport terminal during the Ming and Qing Dynasties were all staged on this land.
When walking around the ancient town, although you can no longer see the golden swords and iron horses of that time, you can touch the traces of time on the remaining ancient city wall ruins, and imagine the magnificence of "the river rushes through Tongguan" next to the ancient ferry of the Yellow River. Standing on the viewing platform and looking into the distance, the Yellow River and the Wei River meet here, the clear and turbid river water winds eastward, and the grand view of "A glance at the river and mountains" is still the most moving background of Qindong Town.
The fireworks in the world make the taste of "living" in the ancient town
The heaviness of history has never affected the fireworks of Qindong Town. In the early morning market, the aroma of Tongguan Roujiamo is filled with the streets and alleys - the skin is crispy and scattered, and the meat is rich inside. With a bowl of steaming tofu brain, it is the breakfast memory engraved in the bones of Qin Dongren; by the Yellow River in the afternoon, the fresh fish that the fishermen had just shored turned into the "Yellow River Carp" on the table in a blink of an eye, and the delicious taste is full of gifts from the water town.
Not to mention that during festivals, the community fire performances and shadow puppets in the ancient town took turns to appear. The old man and his children stopped in front of the ancient theater. The lively gongs and drums hid the Qin Dong people's love for life, and also allowed the traditional culture to be passed down from generation to generation in laughter.
Today's Qindong, there is a chapter written with "new"
Today's Qindong Town has both the "ancient rhyme" of history and the "new voice" of development. Relying on the construction of the Yellow River ecological corridor, the ancient town has created a sightseeing trail along the Yellow River. You can enjoy the new green on both sides of the shore in spring and the red leaves of the mountains in autumn, making it a good place for people to check in for leisure; the old courtyard in the village has been transformed into a characteristic homestay, retaining the style of Guanzhong residential buildings, allowing tourists from afar to "live in history" and slowly savoring the time of the ancient town.
From "Guanpai Ancient Town" to "Ecological Cultural Tourism Town", Qindong Town is taking a new attitude to rejuvenate the thousand-year literary charm in the new era.
