On September 9, the 14th China (Guizhou) International Wine Expo officially kicked off at the Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center. This Wine Expo shows the unique and diverse charm of wine culture from multiple dimensions, helping the wine industry to transform from "selling products" to "transmitting lifestyles". According to the reporter's opening ceremony, in recent years, Guizhou has helped the liquor industry achieve high-quality development through four main directions:

First, continuously strengthen quality supervision to ensure that consumers can enjoy "high-quality famous wines". Guizhou has successively built and improved the new generation of liquor standard system, formulated and implemented relevant opinions on the standardized development of the sauce-flavored liquor industry in the Chishui River Basin and the production area protection plan, scientifically defined the scope of the main production areas of the Chishui River Basin, and promulgated the "Regulations on the Environmental Protection of the Production of Sauce-flavored Liquor in the Chishui River Basin". With the strictest production area management and ecological protection measures, "Guizhou Liquor" has become a symbol of safety, high quality and trustworthiness.
Secondly, continue to create well-known brands and high-quality products, and provide consumers with a variety of choices. Guizhou has gradually created a brand cluster with Moutai as the leading brand, and the coordinated development of brands such as Xijiu, Guotai, Jinsha, Zhenjiu, and Diaoyutai, forming an industrial layout dominated by sauce-flavored flavors and jointly developing multiple flavors. In April this year, "Chishui Valley China Soy Flavor" was successfully selected as the first batch of famous Chinese consumer products regional brands, Moutai ranked among the historical classic list, and Xijiu ranked among the era's top-quality products list, which can meet consumers' consumer demands at different levels, different needs and different personalities.

Third, vigorously promote the integrated development of the wine industry and tourism industry, so that consumers can experience a better life. Faced with the new trends and new needs emerging in the liquor consumer market, Guizhou actively promotes the deep integration of liquor with tourism, culture and other fields, accelerates the creation of a number of distinctive wineries, fine wine and food districts, integrated wine and tourism scenic spots, and high-quality liquor experience stores, and promotes the transformation of liquor sales to conveying lifestyles, so that consumers can not only personally appreciate the unique flavor and craftsmanship of Guizhou’s mellow wine wine, but also feel the profound connotation contained in Guizhou’s wine culture and the warm and comfortable beautiful life atmosphere.

Fourth, actively innovate marketing models and provide consumers with convenient and efficient services. Relying on platforms such as JD.com, Taobao, Douyin, Meituan and "Yima Guizhou", we will accelerate the construction of exclusive online areas and create a live broadcast matrix to promote the mutual promotion and integrated development of online and offline consumption. This year's Wine Expo also officially launched the "One Code Guizhou" Guizhou Liquor Cloud Exhibition and JD Guizhou Liquor Zone to create an online wine fair platform that will never end.
Liquor is a very representative business card of Guizhou, and the liquor industry is an important pillar industry of Guizhou. In 2024, Guizhou's liquor industry generated more than 30% of the country's profits and taxes with less than 10% of the country's output, and its liquor exports accounted for more than 70% of the country's total exports. After the accumulation and development of the 13th Wine Expo, the exhibition has become an important platform for global wine industry practitioners to strengthen exchanges, promote wine trade and investment, and promote Chinese wine culture, and has effectively promoted mutual exchanges and cooperation between China's wine industry and the world's wine industry.
