The 2025 Shaanxi Mountain Rescue Skills Challenge opened in the Huashan Scenic Area in Shaanxi on the 9th. This event aims to test and improve the technical level of professional mountain rescue teams in Shaanxi Province and build a practical communication platform.
This event sets two major sections: high-altitude rope rescue technology exchange and mountain search and rescue technology competition, covering multiple practical projects such as rope operation, field navigation, transfer of wounded personnel, and medical first aid. On the same day, the event opened at the rock climbing ground of Huashan Xianyu Outdoor Sports Base. The participating teams then conducted technical exchanges on high-altitude rope rescue, focusing on demonstrating the technical rescue capabilities of individuals and teams in high-altitude environments.

Afterward, the mountain search and rescue technology competition was held in the Wengyu Mule and Horse Road in Huashan Scenic Area. The competition simulated the real police situation of "personnel loss", and required each team to complete the search and rescue tasks in a mountainous environment with poor network signals and complex terrain. The total length of the competition line is about 12 kilometers (round trip), with an altitude difference of 446 meters, a minimum altitude of 812 meters, and a maximum altitude of 1258 meters, which comprehensively tests the physical fitness, skills and teamwork capabilities of the rescue team members.
The participating teams fully demonstrated the professional quality and tenacious style of the mountain rescue forces in Shaanxi Province in the competition. They exchanged rescue experience through practical competitions, improved mountain rescue capabilities, and provided strong support for the construction of the mountain rescue system in Shaanxi Province.
