Along the winding footsteps of the Yellow River, walking into Hequ County, a 1,900-square-meter Yellow River Basin Ecological Protection Exhibition in Linyu Park. The Hequ Pavilion is telling the thousand-year love between this land and the mother river with the theme of "The Rising Time of the River" and the exhibition of the five major chapters is like the nine-curve series of the Yellow River, slowly spreading the epic of 70 years of yellow control.

In the exhibition area of the first chapter "The Song of the River·Remembering the Flood" of the Great River", a group of "walking to the West" sculptures make people stop - the ragged ancestors carried their bags on their shoulders and trekked on the loess slope, and their solidified posture contained memories of the suffering of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. At the corner, the photos of broken land in the early days of liberation form a shocking contrast with the panoramic photos of the contemporary lush river bend, silently telling how the governance concept of "no mountains are green, and no water is clear" is reflected in reality.
"After the founding of New China, the people of Hequ rewritten this history of suffering in 70 years." With the guidance of the tour guide Wang Zhaoyi, the light and shadow of the exhibition area of the second chapter "Rhyme of the River·Ecological Protection" gradually became brighter. "Look, this is the scene where He Liushijiu leads the villagers to afforest the shore protection." Following the tour guide's gesture, the statue of He Liushijiu, a model worker in the 1950s, was vivid in the light and shadow. The shovel in his hand and the miniature model of the ten thousand acres of forest behind him formed an eternal picture. In front of the red bronze statue of Miao Erman, who "forested before his death and looked at trees after his death", phantom imaging technology is interpreting the "drought-resistant cultivation method of sand jujube trees" he invented. The slogan wall of "using grain as the main line, controlling mountains and water" in the 1960s recorded the passion of struggle in that era. The most eye-catching thing is the group sculptures of Wang Haiyuan leading 280 laborers to "dig mud ditch for the first time": in the biting cold wind, the Communist Party members built dams in the quicksand with bloody hands, and the base of the sculpture was printed with the folk song "A pot of flowers in green mountains and green waters, and a bachelor's widow settles down" which reveals the happiness that sand control people exchanged for hardship.
Turn the arc screen of the "Sand Control Achievements" chapter, the sense of technology in the exhibition area of the third chapter "The Beauty of the River·Ecological Economy" came to your face. On the "Eye of the River" special LED matrix, the smart bracelet interactive device is demonstrating the green transformation of this coal county. "Shangyuquan Coal Mine has become the first intelligent production mine in the city to meet the intermediate standards for all mines." The staff operated the holographic sand table, and the images of the lithium iron phosphate material production line and mining machinery service base were flowing on the LED matrix. Turning around, I met the 8-meter long scroll "Bird's View of the River" composed of agricultural products such as shallots and millet. The model of the 540,000 mu of arable land and the "two stems and ten branches, ten rivers and six reservoirs" water network project, interpreting how the "City of Mixed Grains" transforms ecological advantages into industrial advantages.
Walking out of the exhibition hall, the afterglow of the setting sun covered the Yellow River with golden yarn, and tourists from the ancient ferry of the West entrance are recording the shore protection forest in the sunset glow with their mobile phones. This exhibition hall, which has condensed the epic of 70 years of yellow governance, is like a spiritual lighthouse on the bank of the Yellow River, guiding the children of Xinzhou to forge ahead on the road of ecological protection and high-quality development.
