New breakthrough in end-side AI! The two parties work together to implement innovative features of SME2 on smartphones
As the continuous implementation and deepening of application of end-side AI, how to make mobile devices take into account high performance and long battery life under limited volume and battery capacity has become a key technical bottleneck that needs to be broken through. Arm's latest C1 CPU cluster equipped with SME2 features adds "matrix acceleration capability" to the CPU for end-side AI, making complex computing faster and more power-saving. At the same time, the new hardware that supports SME2, and cooperates with other computing units such as CPUs and NPUs, can achieve more efficient end-side AI heterogeneous computing.
