A stamp opens the door to legend
Leidiansheng was born in 1963 in a small village on the banks of the Hulan River in Harbin. When he was a child, his family was so poor that his parents passed away early, and he and his brother and sister depended on each other for life.
The Lei Dian student who only attended three years of study has worked as a coolie, a salesman, a street stall, and has done all kinds of dirty and tiring work in order to make a living. Although life is very hard, Lei Diansheng has always been unwilling to admit defeat since he was a child. He kept thinking in his heart that he could not just live his life in a daze.

One day at the end of 1987, a stamp completely changed the life trajectory of Lei Diansheng. That was a stamp issued by China Post to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the birth of Xu Xiake, a geographer and traveler in the Ming Dynasty. When he learned about Xu Xiake's life, he felt like he was hit by a lightning bolt, and the fire that had hiked all over China in his heart suddenly started to burn. He thought to himself: "Xu Xiake can travel all over the country, why can't I, Lei Diansheng?"
Lei Diansheng had the dream of hiking in China in his heart, and began to set a 10-year plan for this dream. At that time, he might not have known that in 20 years, he would become a hiking circle leader shining across the country, and he also became the torchbearer of the Beijing Olympics because of hiking.

In 1989, the 25-year-old Lei Diansheng's life ushered in another important turning point. While working in a forest farm in Mohe, Daxinganling, he met Yu Chunshun, a famous hiking explorer at that time.
Yu Chunshun was already quite famous at that time. He had long hair and a long beard, wearing a camouflage uniform, carrying a backpack, and the backpack said "Traveling around China" all over the country." Lei Diansheng was suddenly attracted by this adventurous person, and he took the initiative to come forward and talk to Yu Chunshun.

Yu Chunshun told Lei Diansheng that he was determined to hike all over China and his various experiences and experiences during the hike. Those thrilling stories made Lei Diansheng excited and admired them.
From then on, Lei Diansheng has determined that he should use his steps to measure the great mountains and rivers of the motherland like Yu Chunshun. If Xu Xiake gave Lei Diansheng the idea of hiking in China, then Yu Chunshun is the guide on Lei Diansheng's hiking path. He is his idol and role model in his heart, because he met a living person who was measuring the land of the motherland with his feet.

Ten years of hard work: prepare for your dreams crazy
Since he firmly decided to hike China's dream, Lei Diansheng began to make all-round preparations for this dream. He did not rely on his words to speak, but put his dream into action. The first thing he wanted was to prepare for hiking in China, and this preparation took 10 years.
Hiking requires a good body. In order to develop a good body, Lei Diansheng insists on running 10 kilometers every day. Whether it is the high temperature of the scorching summer heat in the south or the low temperature of minus 26 or 7 degrees below the north, he persists without any impact.

In the later stage of training, he also carried a weight-bearing exercise and ran on the road with a gas tank of no less than 40 kilograms. Lei Diansheng knew that he might encounter various dangers and diseases during the hiking process. In order to prevent problems before they happen, he also learned traditional martial arts and nine-section whip, which finally saved his life during the hiking process.
He learned that Yu Chunshun had fallen on a hike due to appendicitis, but fortunately he was rescued. In order to prevent this from being worried, he went to the hospital to have an appendix cut, for fear of sudden inflammation in the no-man's area and not receiving timely treatment.

In addition to various physical preparations, Lei Diansheng also worked hard on knowledge reserves. He formulated a careful self-study plan and studied astronomy, geography, natural folk customs, history and culture, and survival skills in a targeted manner. He studied it all. At first, he couldn't even understand the map, but after continuous learning and practice, before leaving, he was already familiar with various map types and could also hand-draw a hiking route map for China by himself.
In addition to these preparations, if you want to travel all over China with your feet, you must have enough funds to support him. He has worked hard to make money in the past 10 years, doing business, selling, and doing all kinds of money-making businesses.
In ten years, he saved up nearly 200,000 yuan. It was the 1990s, which was a considerable amount. At the same time, in order to make him have no way out, he also sold his house in Harbin, just to be able to fulfill his dream wholeheartedly.

Idol Falls: Firmly Determined to Hike China
In June 1996, a bad news came that the idol of Lei Diansheng, Yu Chunshun, was killed while traveling through Lop Nur. This news hit Lei Diansheng's heart like a heavy hammer. He never expected that the hero in his heart, the person who had been inspiring himself to move forward, fell to Lop Nur.
Yu Chunshun's death made Lei Dian extremely sad, but at the same time it also strengthened his determination to hike China. He will continue to walk the road that the idol cannot finish.

On October 20, 1998, Lei Diansheng took the first step of hiking in China in his hometown of Harbin Hulan. For this day, he had been preparing for a full 10 years.
Before leaving, he sent a world record-breaking application to the Guinness Records Shanghai headquarters. He cut his hair and made a vow: never leave his hair if he doesn't travel all over China! He carried a 96-pound backpack and waved to his relatives and friends who came to see him off and said "See you in ten years"!

10 years of hiking: He has gone through a lot of hardships
Lei Diansheng finally embarked on a 10-year hiking journey at the age of 35. No one would know what to experience for the unknown journey, but Lei Diansheng was not afraid because he had already prepared.
The hiking trip was not smooth. His experience along the way was really thrilling. He survived many times, encountered 19 robberies, encountered more than 40 wild beast attacks, was besieged by more than 20 wolves, walked through the Turpan Basin in Xinjiang with a high temperature of 74℃, crossed the Sino-Russia border below minus 53℃, and almost died after several natural disasters such as sandstorms, mudslides, avalanches, tornadoes, etc.

A poacher was holding a gun in the head of a head of a gun in the Shennongjia forest, and he fought with a python in the Ali area of Tibet. He had no food for several days, eating raw groundhogs...
In the past 10 years, he has traveled all corners of the country with his feet, visited 56 ethnic settlements, took nearly 40,000 photos, brought back 2 tons of pictures and physical materials, and wrote a million words of hiking record.
In February 2008, Lei Diansheng was invited to become the torchbearer of the Beijing Olympics, which was also a glorious moment in his life.

Hiking on Lop Nur: He finished the road that Yu Chunshun had not finished
After 10 years of hiking, Lei Diansheng has become a big shot in this circle and has achieved success. However, he still has an unfinished goal, which is to travel through Lop Nur. Yu Chunshun just fell inside and never came out again. He wanted to walk the unfinished path Yu Chunshun had.
On October 9, 2008, Lei Diansheng set out from the ruins of Yangguan, Dunhuang, Gansu and officially started his Lop Nur journey. He carried a 45 kilogram bag and walked into the mysterious and dangerous "Sea of Death" step by step.

At this time, Lei Diansheng had become a celebrity, and there was a support team around Luo Pobu. He learned from Yu Chunshun's lessons, carefully planned the route with the team, and buried water, food and other supplies along the way in advance.
But after actually entering Lop Nur hike, Lei Diansheng knew what the real danger was. It is extremely dry, with a surface temperature of up to 70℃ in summer and a sandstorm period of up to five months each year. It is one of the harshest unmanned areas in the world. Lop Nur is like a demon with a bloody mouth, ready to devour all life at any time.

During the journey, Lei Diansheng encountered countless life and death tests. A few days after entering Lop Nur, a sandstorm broke out. The yellow sand was everywhere. He couldn't see his five fingers. He could only hurriedly hide in the Yadan group to shelter the wind. After the sandstorm passed, he found that his supplies had bottomed out, and the next pre-buried point was still far away.
Lei Diansheng was anxious. He stepped up his speed and walked more than 10 kilometers, but the second sandstorm came again. At this time, he had only two bottles of water left. In order to survive, he also put his urine into a bottle and drank it.

In addition to the sandstorm, Lei Dian Survival was also attacked by wild beasts. In the no-man's land, his tent was surrounded by wolves, and the wild wolf's beards penetrated into the tent. Lei Diansheng picked up firecrackers and smoke bullets and drove out the wolves, lit his clothes and threw them outside the tent, and escaped by chance.
In the Lop Nur no man's land, he always had a belief in his heart, that is, he must walk out of Lop Nur alive.
On the afternoon of November 8, 2008, Lei Diansheng walked 1,100 kilometers and finally reached the end of Yingpan Ancient City. He successfully crossed this sea of death and became the first and only person who successfully hiked through Lop Nur.

Legend Continuation: Inspire more people with actions

After the end of his hiking, he published books such as "Ten Years of Hiking China" and "31 Days of Traveling Through Lop Nur", and at the same time, "Ten Years of Hiking China" was also made into the movie "The Unbounded Walker".
