✦Shijia Courtyard

Shijia Courtyard is located in the center of Yangliuqing Town, a thousand-year-old ancient town. It was originally the residence of Shi Yuanshi, one of the eight great masters of Tianjin in the late Qing Dynasty. The house was named "Zunmeitang", commonly known as "Shijia Courtyard", and was once known as "the first house in North China" and "the first house in Tianjin". The Shijia Courtyard was built in the early years of Guangxu (1875). It is a large Qing Dynasty residential house with a history of more than 140 years. It covers an area of nearly 10,000 square meters. The entire building complex contains 18 courtyards, a typical four-combined connection, a courtyard with a courtyard, a clear axis and a grand magnificent style. Its bricks, wood and stone carvings are exquisite and vivid, and the meaning is auspicious, and the theater in the courtyard is the most intact and largest closed-end residential theater in my country. In 2006, Shijiayuan was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council. The "New Year's Paintings" corridor of Yangliuqing Ancient Town is a characteristic space that deeply integrates intangible cultural heritage and immersive experience. It is located on Zhushi Street, the ancient town, and interprets the theme of "visiting the New Year's Paintings in the World and savoring the various aspects of life" with the exhibition layout of "one district, two corridors and three alleys". In the corridor, six giant New Year scenes vividly interpret the trajectory of different stages of life through two-dimensional images and three-dimensional sculptures. For example, the auspicious clouds of the Qilin sending children linger in the silhouettes of children climbing the wall, and the ink of Kuixing's pen and ink shine in the reliefs of the former Wenchang Pavilion site; at the same time, the "Wan Fu You Tong" breathing light wall will change light and dark with tourists approaching, and the magic weapon in front of the "Three Stars of Fu Lu Shou" can light up when touched, and the clever "light and shadow magic" is integrated everywhere. In addition, the classic door god image in Yangliu Youth paintings is also arranged at the entrance of the corridor.
