On Wednesday, Eastern Time, the three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed, with the Nasdaq Index and the S&P 500 Index hitting new highs.
As of the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 220.42 points, or 0.48%, to 45,490.92 points; the Nasdaq closed up 6.572 points, or 0.03%, to 21,886.06 points; the S&P 500 closed up 19.43 points, or 0.30%, to 6,532.04 points.

On the market, large technology stocks rose and fell mixed, Nvidia rose by more than 3%, Microsoft and Tesla rose slightly, Apple and Amazon fell by more than 3%, Facebook fell by more than 1%, and Google fell slightly.
Energy stocks rose generally, Occupy Oil rose more than 3%, ConocoPhillips rose more than 2%, ExxonMobil and Chevron rose more than 1%.
Most chip stocks rose, Broadcom and ARM rose by more than 9%, TSMC and Micron rose by more than 3%, Chaowei Semiconductor rose by more than 2%, and ASM fell by more than 1%.
In other stocks, Oracle's stock price rose nearly 36% to a closing high, with a market value exceeding US$920 billion, and its market value soared by about US$250 billion (approximately RMB 1.78 trillion).

According to the news, the company expects cloud infrastructure revenue to grow 77% to $18 billion in fiscal 2026. OpenAI has reportedly signed an agreement to purchase $300 billion in computing power from Oracle in about five years. The deal is one of the largest cloud service contracts ever. The contract will require 4.5 GW of power capacity.
