IT Home September 11th news, Microsoft has been committed to allowing Copilot to penetrate all aspects of users' personal life and career work. Previously, the company has even begun to provide Copilot with free Microsoft 365 personal subscription service to all students in the United States, with a free period of up to one year. Today, Microsoft is planning to simplify its Copilot-related product system through a series of pricing adjustments.
In the latest blog post, Microsoft has announced a positioning plan for Copilot solutions for the financial, service and sales teams. Prior to this, Microsoft provided these exclusive Copilots as an additional feature to the Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription service, which itself is priced at $30 per month, while the exclusive Copilot additional features cost an additional $20 per month, which means the average monthly cost of the entire service is as high as $50 (IT Home Note: the current exchange rate is approximately RMB 356.1), which is overpriced for many companies. However, a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed to Directions on Microsoft that this pricing model is about to change:
As of mid-October, the role-based solution previously called ‘Sales Copilot’, ‘Service Copilot’ and ‘Financial Copilot’ will be available for free to all Microsoft 365 Copilot subscribers, and the features used by existing role-based Copilot users will not change.
From next month, these "role" solutions will be open to users through the Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Store, which also means users no longer have to pay them an additional $20 per person per month.
Microsoft believes that its exclusive Copilot solution will bring great value to "frontier firms". "Frontier Enterprises" are a new type of enterprise group with artificial intelligence as the core business. This type of enterprise can use Copilot solutions in the sales field to prepare for customer meetings through Copilot, and use the insights and planning generated by AI to flexibly promote revenue growth. At the same time, Copilot solutions in the service field can assist customer service teams in sorting case summary, communicating with customers, drafting emails and updating records.
In addition, Copilot solutions in the financial field can help companies complete financial reconciliation, prepare reports, identify abnormal data, and prepare reporting materials for corporate management. This solution can also be connected with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Dynamics 365 and SAP. It is reported that the Copilot solutions in the above three major areas will be officially launched next month on the exclusive Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Store.
