The reporter learned from the Xiamen Marathon Organizing Committee that the registration channel for the 2026 Xiamen Marathon will open at 10:00 am on September 17.
The 2026 Xiamen Marathon is scheduled to fire on January 11 next year, and the competition rules will be released on September 17. As one of the few platinum competitions in China, Xiamen Horse will usher in its 24th competition.
In the 2025 first half of 2025 released by the World Athletics Federation, the Xiamen Marathon ranked eighth among the 102 World Athletics certified marathons in the world with a total score of 9,715, ranking third among the world's events (second only to the Tokyo Marathon and the Dubai Marathon), and ranked first in China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). This ranking is an authoritative ranking focusing on the competitive level of elite players.
