On September 5, 2025, the "Human Catastrophe-1937 Nanjing Massacre Historical Facts Exhibition" was held in Xining by the Qinghai Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism (Qinghai Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau), co-organized by the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre of Japanese Invaders, and hosted by the Qinghai Provincial Museum and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Natural Museum.



"Human Catastrophe-1937 Nanjing Massacre Historical Facts Exhibition" is divided into 8 parts. By displaying the burning, killing, plundering, atrocities and atrocities after the Japanese army occupied Nanjing on December 13, 1937, it objectively explains the catastrophe in the history of human civilization, and calls on people to remember history and cherish peace; "Eternal Memory-Nanjing Massacre Document Exhibition" brings together precious materials collected from countries and regions such as Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany, and displays archives of victims, perpetrators and third-party archives, as well as many Nanjing Massacre history research works, popular reading materials, essays, think tank research reports and national publications themed by the theme of public memorials. There are nearly 300 foreign translation results of many Nanjing Massacre historical materials and works, so that history can speak and speak with historical facts. The exhibition uses historical pictures and documentary materials to inspire people to remember history, remember martyrs, cherish peace, and create the future.



During the War of Resistance Against Japan, although Qinghai was far away from the main battlefield of the Anti-Japanese War, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Qinghai also made indelible contributions to the formation of the anti-Japanese national united front and the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. Holding the Nanjing Massacre historical facts and document exhibitions in Qinghai is not only a review and reflection on history, but also a call and protection for peace, but also a tribute and inheritance of the great spirit of the War of Resistance. Through this exhibition, more people, especially the young generation, can understand the historical truth, feel the hard-won peace, enhance national cohesion and social responsibility, effectively inspire the patriotic feelings and enthusiasm for struggle of people of all ethnic groups in the province, and gather a strong synergy to accelerate the construction of a modern new Qinghai.



After the exhibition, everyone was deeply moved and said that this event was not only a vivid patriotic education, but also a profound historical and cultural baptism. We must remember history, cherish peace, inherit and carry forward the great spirit of the War of Resistance Against Japan, consciously transform patriotic feelings into practical actions, and contribute to the construction of a new Qinghai.



Responsible persons from 16 provincial departments including the Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department, the Provincial Party Committee Cyberspace Affairs Office, the Provincial Organization Working Committee, the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the Communist Youth League Qinghai Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Provincial Sports Bureau, more than 100 journalists from the news media attended the ceremony, and the exhibition will last until October 20.
