Zhang Wangshi is the wife of Zhang Wenfang in Sidong Zhang Village, Zhile Town, Yanling County, Xuchang City, Henan Province. She married Zhang Wenfang at the age of 18. At the age of 28, her husband died.
After her husband's death, Zhang Wang was filial to her parents-in-law, was thrifty in the family, strictly abide by the wife's morality, and interacted with others cautiously to avoid causing gossip. Moreover, Zhang Wang strictly disciplined his children. Later, Zhang Wang's descendants were able to behave properly without causing trouble to the family. These were the result of Zhang Wang's decades of discipline.
In the tenth year of the Republic of China (1921), Zhang Wang died at the age of 85.
