The Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression is the longest, largest and most sacrificed national liberation struggle in modern times, with the largest number of people resolutely resisting foreign invasions. It is also the first national liberation struggle to achieve complete victory.
At the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, we interviewed more than 40 people of honor at the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. We deeply commemorated the great achievements of Comrade Mao Zedong and other older generation revolutionaries and martyrs of the War of Resistance, and eagerly looked forward to the upcoming 93 Grand Military Parade, expressing our determination to carry forward the great spirit of the War of Resistance, remember history, continue to strive for the great cause of strong country and national rejuvenation. Xiao Cai came to the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall in Beijing early today, but it came too early in the morning. The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall has national activities and it will be officially opened after 10 am. So we waited until 10 o'clock before we officially entered the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall.
At 10:20 am at the morning, standing in front of Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall, we can see that our lovely people have begun to enter Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall. The individual group passages on both sides were filled with people. They all came to pay attention to and commemorate our great leader Chairman Mao on this anniversary. Today, the platform shows that all tickets were fully booked, and tens of thousands of people will come to Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall today.
Afterward, we also joined the queue. It took 30 minutes to complete the security check from the entrance of Chairman Mao Memorial Hall to the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, which was much slower than usual, which is enough to show that there are a lot of people today and they are always moving forward slowly. The team is long and it is expected to reach the steps of Chairman Mao’s Memorial Hall for ten minutes.
Some people consciously bought flowers, but the price was not expensive. After climbing the steps of Chairman Mao’s Memorial Hall, they presented them to Chairman Mao in front of the white marble statue, missing and loving him. Chairman Mao loved the people when he was, and the people loved Chairman Mao too.
When I walked to the steps of Chairman Mao’s memorial hall, I felt very uncomfortable. He has been struggling for the establishment of New China all his life, and those revolutionary ancestors like Chairman Mao are worthy of our remembrance in this way.
After visiting and commemorating Chairman Mao, he walked out of the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. Many people wanted to take photos here, and many people burst into tears after leaving Chairman Mao Memorial Hall.
