On the morning of September 9, the on-site promotion activity of Sanxingdui Cultural Tourism Development Zone was held. Municipal Party Committee Secretary Liu Guangqiang, Municipal Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Mayor Huang Chaoyang, and Municipal CPPCC Chairman He Mingjun attended the event. Zhu Li, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee, presided over the event.

He said that the construction of the Sanxingdui Cultural Tourism Development Zone is a concrete practice of thoroughly implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on “making more cultural relics and cultural heritage come alive”, and is a living display model for creating a diverse and integrated pattern of Chinese civilization. Deyang firmly shoulders the important mission of building an international tourist city, adheres to the connection between protection and development, takes inheritance and interpretation of Sanxingdui culture as the main line, and promotes the construction of this major cultural and tourism project in accordance with the development positioning of contemporary fine products, future heritage and handed down works.
During the event, relevant persons in charge of Wuxi Nihuawan Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., and Guanghan City delivered speeches respectively. Everyone unanimously expressed that they will take this on-site promotion event as an opportunity to build a world-class cultural and tourism landmark in Sanxingdui, give full play to their respective advantages, give priority to allocating resources, and focus on ensuring progress, and work together to build the project into a high-quality project.
At around 11:28, leaders such as Liu Guangqiang, Huang Chaoyang and others put the ball together, and the construction of the Sanxingdui Cultural Tourism Development Zone was launched!
Before the event, Liu Guangqiang, Huang Chaoyang and his party also listened to the introduction of the project planning and construction (construction preparation) to understand the latest progress of the project. According to reports, the Sanxingdui Cultural Tourism Development Zone project is located on the east side of the Sanxingdui Museum and west of Tianfu Avenue. The project covers an area of 815 mu and has a total construction area of about 160,000 square meters. After the project is completed, it will become a world-class oriental classic cultural tourism destination integrating cultural experience, leisure and vacation, trade and exhibition, further polishing the Sanxingdui cultural business card.
