The Guizhou Provincial Meteorological Bureau and Anshun College jointly established the "Key Laboratory for Deep Integration of Meteorology + Culture and Tourism" at Anshun College on September 9. It is understood that this is the first laboratory in my country that focuses on the deep integration of "Meteorology + Culture and Tourism" and the cross-disciplinary research of multidisciplinary.
The laboratory initiator, director of the Collaborative Innovation Center for the Co-construction of the Provincial and Ministry of Modern Tourism Development of Nankai University, honorary president of Anshun College, and director of the Academic Committee, introduced that the Guizhou Provincial Meteorological Bureau and Anshun College jointly established the first key laboratory for deep integration of "meteorology + cultural tourism" and is an innovative carrier to meet the major needs of meteorology to empower cultural tourism. Climate is a strategic resource and basic environment for cultural and tourism development. Hot topics such as summer tourism, cold tourism, ice and snow tourism, climate and health tourism, and residence are closely related to meteorological climate. Meteorological empowerment of cultural and tourism development is increasingly valued. The summer weather is a distinctive advantage of Guizhou. Guizhou has become the number one destination for summer vacation and a hot spot for health and wellness travel in the country.
In recent years, many places across the country have made a lot of innovative explorations in promoting meteorological empowerment of culture and tourism, showing a good development momentum, but there is still a lack of an inter-research platform for the deep integration of meteorological + culture and tourism. It is hoped that the laboratory will be built into a scientific decision-making think tank platform for the construction of Guizhou's health and wellness destinations, a base for the innovation and scientific research of the national and even international meteorological + cultural and tourism associations, and a base for the innovation training and service transformation of meteorological + cultural and tourism talents.
Shi Peihua introduced that the laboratory will focus on promoting cooperative research in the following aspects in the near future: First, deeply explore the characteristics and values of Guizhou's three-dimensional mountain climate, and explore the construction of a precise meteorological service system for travel and residence in the whole region. Systematically carry out comprehensive evaluation of health and wellness and traveling climates that cross multiple factors and disciplines, carry out research on the adaptability of traveling to differentiated populations, and conduct in-depth research on the spatial and temporal differentiation characteristics of Guizhou's three-dimensional mountain climate and traveling functional zoning, providing services for refined climate health and traveling to traveling. Carry out comprehensive evaluation research on the climate and ecological environment of Guizhou health care travel, promote the integration of multidisciplinary research on the climate adaptability of differentiated populations, build a multi-factor comprehensive evaluation index system, and carry out climate travel suitability diagnosis in key areas across the province. Scientifically reveal the spatial and temporal laws of three-dimensional mountain climate and its impact on travel, identify advantageous areas and best time periods suitable for the development of different types of travel activities such as summer vacation, cold vacation, health and wellness, and explore the construction of a Guizhou full-season travel climate service map and recommendation system.
The second is to deepen the application of meteorological landscape monitoring, forecasting and service, and promote the high-quality improvement of Guizhou's tourism experience. Guizhou's complex mountainous terrain and rich climatic conditions have formed rich and diverse and dynamic meteorological landscapes. It studies the main types, distribution and generation conditions of Guizhou's meteorological landscapes, and explores the construction of a normalized meteorological landscape forecasting system. Systematically carry out a census of landmark meteorological landscape resources in the province and an appropriate ornamental period evaluation, and study the dynamic landscape changes and ornamental value evaluation of key tourist attractions under different meteorological conditions.
The third is to study the impact of meteorological disasters and weather on Guizhou’s tourism and countermeasures, and improve Guizhou’s tourism safety guarantee and tourist experience quality. Systematically sort out and evaluate the meteorological disasters and their derivative disasters faced by Guizhou's cultural and tourism development, systematically sort out and analyze the meteorological disasters faced by key tourism periods, systematically sort out and analyze the meteorological disasters faced by Guizhou's special cultural and tourism projects and business formats, and build a prediction, forecast, early warning and risk assessment system for meteorological disasters, and study how to build a precise forecast and prevention and control system for meteorological disasters from multiple disciplines, multiple fields, multiple industries and multiple subjects, and study how to build an accurate disaster emergency management system and working mechanism.
Fourth, study the hot spots of meteorological tourism products in different seasons, solar terms and holidays in Guizhou Province, and launch the meteorological tourism product system for Guizhou's annual time-divided zones. Based on the meteorological tourism needs of different tourist groups, prepare Guizhou meteorological tourism calendar, develop smart tourism route dynamic planning and recommendation services based on refined weather forecasts, explore and study accurate forecast services for special tourism activities such as flower viewing, leaf viewing, photography, and picking, explore refined forecasting and early warning and risk management for meteorologically sensitive tourism projects such as rafting, gliding, and outdoor performances, and explore tourism market trend prediction and precise marketing guidance based on annual climate forecasts.
Fifth, innovatively explore research on the in-depth integration of other meteorological conditions + cultural tourism. Study the meteorological codes and utilization countermeasures of Guizhou's characteristic industries and products, study the impact and countermeasures of global climate change and frequent meteorological disasters on Guizhou's health and wellness and living conditions and quality, study the meteorological and cultural tourism characteristics of major cities and counties, and help cities and counties create characteristic climate tourism and living and meteorological tourism brands. Explore the establishment of a comprehensive platform for meteorological tourism services in Guizhou, and provide comprehensive meteorological monitoring and services based on modern information technology innovation. And taking Guizhou as a sample, we explore theoretical methods and path models, gradually provide innovative services for the national meteorological empowerment of cultural and tourism development, and become a high-end platform for cross-integration research.
