In order to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, carry forward the great spirit of the War of Resistance and patriotism, further give full play to the unique advantages of veterans in ideological and political education in colleges and universities, and promote the deepening and practical work of red genes and ideological and political leadership, on September 11, the "Veterans Show Style and Red Culture Entering Campus" hosted by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and jointly hosted by the Autonomous Region Department of Veterans Affairs and the Autonomous Region Education Department and the "Present the same Ideological and Political Class" activity of colleges, middle schools and primary schools across the region was held at the Helanshan Campus of Ningxia University. Jiang Enqiao, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the National Veterans Service Center, attended the event, Song Haitao, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Autonomous Region Department of Veterans Affairs, and Huang He, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Ningxia University, attended the event and delivered speeches. Nearly 300,000 teachers, students and retired soldiers from universities, primary and secondary schools across the district listen to and watch live events online and offline.

At the event, Shao Yufen, an old soldier over 90 years old, told the heroic deeds of Ningxia's "Youth Team" with full enthusiasm, inspiring young students to continue their red bloodlines and bravely shoulder the mission of the times. Cai Guo, a gold medal propagandist of Ningxia Veterans Propaganda Team, took the birth process of the national anthem "March of the Volunteers", combined with his own experience in participating in the war, deeply explained the core connotation of the great spirit of the War of Resistance, and expressed his firm determination and loyal oath of "if there is a war, he will be called back." Wang Huan, a national model retired soldier, affectionately talked about the touching deeds of participating in domestic and foreign rescue and peacekeeping escort, to taking off his military uniform and actively participating in local construction and feeding back to society, vividly interpreting the sincere responsibility of retired soldiers to "we are on call for the motherland and the people." The sitcom "Mother of the War of Resistance" written and performed by Yinchuan Junxu Art Troupe reproduces the tenacious struggle and selfless love of the Chinese people during those years of war. The strong ideological shock and educational appeal made the teachers and students on the scene move. Professor Fan Yingyuan of the School of Marxism of Ningxia University closely follows the theme of the event, deeply interprets and improves the content of the propaganda, and guides students to deeply understand the contemporary value of the great spirit of the War of Resistance. Yang Shuheng, a seventh-grade student at Wencui Middle School in Yinchuan, spoke as a representative of youth, expressing the common voice of young people in the new era to remember the history of the War of Resistance, continue the spirit of heroes, cherish the peaceful environment, and be determined to strengthen the country.
During the event, Ningxia University Veterans Service Station was listed, marking the further expansion and improvement of the service guarantee system for veterans in colleges and universities in our district. Relevant leaders of the National Veterans Service Center held a discussion with some representatives of retired military students from Ningxia University, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the work of veteran students showing their military style in the school and doing a good job in ideological and political guidance.
In the next step, all parts of the region will continue to deeply promote the extensive development of the "Red Culture Quality Exhibition and Evolution on Campus" activities, and continuously inject a strong red cultural atmosphere into the campus, guide the majority of young people in the region to remember the revolutionary history, understand the great spirit, cultivate the feelings of family and country, draw strength to forge ahead, strengthen ideals and beliefs, and strive to be the inheritance and promotion of red culture.
