At the event, Li Lei, Secretary-General of the Xinjiang Tourism Scenic Areas (Points) Association and Assessor of the Tourism A-level Scenic Area Rating Evaluation Committee of the Autonomous Region Department of Culture and Tourism, released a self-driving route. After careful planning, this route builds a panoramic journey from the hinterland of Kunlun to the secret realm of northern Tibet. It uses Hotan as the starting point and end point of its itinerary to form a closed-loop tour route, allowing tourists to experience the scenery and cultural charm of the western region in an all-round and immersive manner.
After the specific itinerary, tourists gathered from Hotan, they headed to the Kunlun Mountain Scenic Area in Xinjiang for the first stop, officially starting this wonderful journey. Then, I passed by the Daliyabuyi Scenic Area in Tian County and experienced the unique oasis life of the "village in the desert" by myself; I went deep into the Niya ruins along the direction of Minfeng County to explore the historical relics left by the ancient Jingjue Kingdom; I traveled through the Qiangtang Nature Reserve to experience the ecological beauty of the vast grasslands of the northern Tibetan Plateau and the agile posture of rare wild animals; I walked into the Hero Memorial Hall of the Advances of Tibet and listened to the heroic guarding of the revolutionary ancestors. A moving story; arrive at the town of Shenshan and look at the holy snowy peak of Gang Rinpochi; rush to the shore of Mapan Yongcuo Lake to feel the tranquility of the "Holy Lake"; enjoy the geological wonders of the Jada Tu Forest; visit the ruins of the Guge Dynasty and appreciate the profound history; visit the Pangong Lake Scenic Area and enjoy the lake and mountains; pass the Kangxiwa Martyrs Cemetery on the way back to commemorate the heroes; visit the Saitula Post Card site; finally return to Hotan City along the Sangzhu Ancient Road to complete the full tour.

It is reported that the route carefully selected thirteen highlight landmarks, including the Niya ruins and the Guge Dynasty ruins that carry a profound history, as well as the Kunlun Mountain Scenic Area and the Qiangtang Nature Reserve that show the magical charm of nature, and it is also integrated into red education points such as the Kangxiwa Martyrs Cemetery to achieve the deep integration of "culture + ecology + red" resources.
The launch of this self-driving route will further activate the cultural and tourism potential of the Kunlun Mountain area, inject new impetus into the coordinated development of the cultural and tourism industries of the two places, and also provide domestic and foreign tourists with new choices to experience the unique charm of the West, helping the "Kunlun Cultural Tourism Brand" to a broader market.
