The Blue Whale is launched!
On April 28, the world's first high-speed submersible unmanned boat, Blue Whale, was successfully launched in Zhuhai, Guangdong.
The engineering project of this boat not only fills the relevant technical gaps in China, but also writes a new chapter in the global marine equipment field.

At the same time, the upper half of the bow is streamlined inclined, making the entire bow in a cluster of arrows, taking into account the drag reduction needs during water surface and underwater navigation. In terms of propulsion systems, the Blue Whale has a unique design. A main propeller thruster is set up at the lower end of the tail of the hull, which connects the main engine in the hull through the main shaft, similar to a traditional speedboat.

In addition, the Blue Whale sets a circle of drains in the center of the entire boat to connect to the ballast water tank. When diving is needed, you can put sea water in to adjust the buoyancy and dive to a depth of tens of meters.
In terms of material selection, it uses a variety of aerospace-grade materials including composite materials and special metal materials (such as titanium alloys, etc.), which ensures good compressive resistance while reducing the weight of the hull and meeting the needs of underwater operations and navigation.
