At the time when the military parade commemorates the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War came to an end, the People's Armed Forces Department of Pinglu District, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province actively extended the education activities and organized a reservation for new recruits and all members of the Li Lin militia squad to carry out the theme of "Remembering the History of the War of Resistance and Inheriting the Spirit of Victory". Through watching the military parade and visiting the museum, the patriotic enthusiasm inspired by the military parade was transformed into a firm belief in protecting peace and fulfilling the mission.
On September 5, the Pinglu District People's Armed Forces Department organized militias to watch the 93rd parade. When the parade team walked through Tiananmen Square with firm steps, there were bursts of applause at the scene.

During the visit, the recruits and militia took the initiative to exchange their feelings. "Seeing my predecessors sticking to their faith and fighting bravely under difficult conditions, I know more about the responsibilities on my shoulders." Liu Pengyu, a recruit, said. Jia Kai, the squad leader of Li Lin’s militia, shared with the new recruits the importance of national defense construction based on his own training experience: "Whether they are new recruits who are about to join the army or militia who protect their hometowns, they are all part of the national defense force, and they must shoulder this responsibility firmly." During the interactive exchanges, the inheritance of veterans' experience and the passionate responsibility of new recruits are blended with each other, and the red original aspiration becomes increasingly firm.
This event is an important measure taken by the Pinglu District People's Armed Forces Department to strengthen pre-service education for scheduled new military service. The leaders of the People's Armed Forces Department said that organizing new recruits and militias to receive red education together will not only allow new recruits to feel the responsibility of "soldiers" in exchanges with militias, but also allow militias to review their original aspirations and missions in interactions with new recruits.
