According to statistics from the China Federation of Commerce, more than 530 new commercial and cultural tourism projects are expected to open in 2025, of which nearly one-third of the cultural, commercial and tourism complex projects account for. Cultural empowerment, first-time economy, night economy, immersive experience, performing arts performances, appearance economy, segmented communities, non-standard business, etc. have become the keywords for the deep integration of culture, business and tourism.
According to "Industry Insight", the three major trends of green and low-carbon, intelligent technology, and asset securitization will promote the development of the industry. Among them, green energy technology reduces costs and increases efficiency for high-energy-consuming cultural and tourism projects; cutting-edge technologies such as VR/AR, AI intelligence, and robots have spawned new business formats and led industry upgrades; high-quality projects achieve diversified income and high growth returns, ensuring asset appreciation and activate investment vitality.

All localities actively explore new models of integrated development of culture, business and tourism with innovative concepts. It is understood that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has successively selected three batches of 345 national night cultural and tourism consumption clusters, of which one third are the integration of culture, business and tourism as the main business format.
It is reported that the industry standard for "Cultural, Commercial and Tourism Complex Level Division" is being formulated, and will take business model integration, marketing innovation, equipment and facilities and public services, comprehensive benefits, etc. as the core evaluation system, aiming to provide standardized guidance and differentiated development of projects across the country.
