The minimum running time from Beijing to Changbai Mountain will be compressed to less than 4 hours, providing important support for Tonghua City to integrate into the "4-hour economic circle" of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.

First ticket for high-speed rail is free: From September 28 to September 30, 2025 (the early stage of the opening of the Shenyang-Baizhou High-speed Railway), tourists from Chengde can visit Tonghua A-level scenic spots and rural tourism business units without tickets with their ID card and Chengde to Tonghua High-speed Railway tickets.
