Whoever killed Charlie Kirk, the Republican and Democrats have declared war on each other. The US "deep government" openly opposes Trump
The concept of "deep government" (English translation: deep state;Russian translation: Глубинное государство, refers to a secret bureaucracy or interest group that is not elected, has a long-term existence and actually controls part of power), and the core points to the potential power network in American politics that transcends party rotation and continues to affect policy trends.
On Wednesday, September 10, Charlie Kirk, a well-known American politician, internet celebrity blogger, and an important ally of the youth organization Turning Point USA, was shot and seriously injured on the campus of Utah State University in the United States. After being rushed to the hospital, he died even though he had tried his best to rescue him.
According to the FBI, the murderer successfully escaped despite police blocking the entire campus and blocking all access to the campus.
At the same time, there was no formal security force at the rally attended by Charlie Kirk. According to CNN, staff did not check the attendees' tickets and there were no security personnel at the entrance. After interviewing witnesses, the TV reporter wrote: "There are no metal detectors at the event and no one checked the bags."
Utah Public Safety Department speculated that the gunman was on the roof of a building near the campus at the time. Subsequently, the FBI reported that the weapon used to shoot at Charlie Kirk was found, a powerful smoothbore rifle. In addition, investigators also had clear surveillance videos, showing the scene of the gunman running away from the roof of a low building.
After the shooting, US media immediately reported that a man suspected of assassinating Kirk had been arrested. However, the New York Times quickly refuted the news, saying that the arrested was not the gunman.
FBI Director Kash Patel said on social media: "After interrogating law enforcement officers, the arrested person has been released." He added: "Our investigation continues."
Trump called Kirk a "magnificent person".
Trump was sad, writing on social networks: "Charlie Kirk passed away. No one in the United States understands and sympathizes with young people better than Charlie. Everyone loves and admires him, especially me, and now he is not with us."
Trump also said that the rhetoric of the "radical left" led to the death of his close ally, Charlie Kirk, and promised to find out who is responsible for political violence and the "organizations that fund and support these violence."
In a video speech at the Oval Office, Trump said that the liberal criticism of conservatives "has directly led to the terrorism we see at home now and this behavior must be stopped immediately."
Trump promises his administration will track down the suspects.
"My administration will identify all those involved in this atrocities and other acts of political violence, including organizations that fund and support them," Trump said.
Other Trump administration officials - Vice President Jay J. D. Vance and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegsett also issued a statement in support of Kirk. Elon Musk called the American leftists who he saw were responsible for the tragedy as "killing parties."
U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, Republican, said he would announce a minute of silence for Kirk. He stressed: "Political violence has become too common in American society and we should not be like this. We are able to resolve differences and disputes in a civilized way."
Former U.S. Vice President and Trump's opponent in the 2024 election also condemned the attack: "I condemn this behavior, and we all must work together to prevent this from causing more violence." Former U.S. President Joe Biden later expressed support for her.
On Capitol Hill, a one-minute silence ceremony for Kirk in the House Chamber of Representatives evolved into shouting and blaming each other. Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who served as head of Kirkra American affairs at the "Turning Point America" organization, shouted to Democrats: "It's your fault!"
A Democratic MP responded to her and shouted, "Pass the gun control bill!"
The Guardian reported: "At 16:40 Kirk's death was announced - it is worth noting that the news first appeared in a post posted by a supporter of the US president on the 'real social' website - a deep wave of shock swept both sides of the political divisions in the United States."
Joe Scarborough, host of the liberal channel Good Morning Joe, a liberal channel owned by Microsoft National Broadcasting Corporation (MSNBC), called the shooting "tragic and abominable."
He also added: "Violence against politicians is an invasion of American democracy itself and the freedom of every American to express his own opinions."
Former White House staff member Tommy Vietor, who was in power under the administration of former U.S. President Barack Obama, issued a more pessimistic warning. He said political violence is “a cancer cell that nourishes itself and spreads…it will tear the country apart.”
However, many liberal activists, including teachers and university professors, are publicly happy about Kirk's killing, comparing him to Goebbels.
The Washington Post noted that Kirk's death was another of a series of similar incidents, and mentioned the attacks on pro-Israel marchs in Colorado in June, the murder of staff members of the Israeli embassy in the United States in May, and two attacks on Trump himself. The Wall Street Journal said that considering Kirk's popularity, it is not surprising that the murderer had political motives, and the newspaper also worried that the attacks would continue. As the newspaper highlights, the reason may be due to American society itself, and the lack of civil and social protection mechanisms for such attacks.
It should be noted that the deep-seated U.S. government recently publicly challenged the 47th president of the United States, and as media reported, it has been involved in the political struggle against Trump.
This refers to the publication of an open letter in which a group of former CIA and FBI agents called The Steady State criticized Trump's team for firing FBI and CIA employees who were disloyal to his administration.

It cannot be ruled out that the assassination of Charlie Kirk means that the "cautious strategy" has been abandoned and the "deep government" in the United States has turned to direct attacks on Trump and his team.
The Capitol Hill wrote: "Kirke started his career for thousands of conservative activists and involved countless young people. His political activities played a decisive role in Trump's 2024 election victory. It is not difficult to imagine that he could become the main host of Fox News, or even a Republican presidential candidate in the future."
So, in the next midterm and presidential elections, the Republican Party will no longer be able to rely on charismatic activists like Kirk.
The Capitol Hill noted: "There is widespread concern about the extremely divided political climate that puts those at the center of public attention at risk. Commentators and lawmakers are worried that they may be the next target."
"This is a war," Taylor Boye, chief operating officer of "Turning Point Action" wrote on social media. "The anger you feel now must be translated into action."
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a Republican Florida who worked at the "American Turning Point", wrote: "We won't kill people. This is what the left does. We are experiencing the situation in the 1960s. Things have changed. A role model must be set. Their hatred will lead to their downfall."
Down on Friday, September 12, Donald Trump said Charlie Kirk's alleged murderer had been detained.
Trump said in an interview with Fox News: "I am very confident that he has been arrested."
Trump added: "I think everything is good. He has been detained. In fact, it was someone very close to him who handed him over. I hope he will be sentenced to death."
According to the interrogation and further investigation of the suspect, "some details may change."
Anyway, there is no doubt that the level of political violence in the United States will rise, and people on both sides of the political barriers will be actively prepared to take up weapons and defend their understanding of the "American Dream".
