Beixi Village, Simingshan Town, Yuyao City, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, two streams converge, and three highways, the Thin North Line, Mibei Line and Huxi Line, intersect. They are located in the center of the Siming Mountain Range that runs from north to south and crosses from east to west. They are a common place that penetrates deep into the hinterland of Siming Mountain. They can be said to be the heart of Siming Mountain in Ningbo.
Jishan Bridge, Jinsong Bridge, and Highway Bridge, three bridges are parallel, which are witnesses of the development and changes in the Siming Mountains.

The villagers of Beixi were mainly named Lu. The Lu family originally lived in Shandong. At the junction of the Song Dynasty, the world was in chaos. The Lu family escaped chaos and moved south to Dongyang. Among the descendants, there was a man named Lu Guliang who served as the magistrate of Fenghua Prefecture. "When he arrived at Beixi, he suddenly became clear, surrounded by peaks and streams, with beautiful mountains and rivers", so he lived in seclusion here. He was originally named Lubutou and later Beixi, which corresponds to Nanxi.
The people in Beixi Village believe that the Lu family is the Lu Junyi lineage in the Water Margin, so the village's homestays and farmhouses are labeled as Water Margin, such as "Jingyanggang", "Juyi Hall", "Qingfengzhai", "Xunyang Tower", "Happy Forest", etc.

In the late autumn season, Beixi Village has bright red maples, golden ginkgo leaves, red and yellow and green, colorful and picturesque, and an unmissable autumn viewing destination. The best time to enjoy autumn in mid-to-late November.
The ginkgo trees in the village are called the ginkgo family. The two oldest ginkgo trees have been around for more than 500 years, one female and one male, and are called the husband and wife tree.
The male tree falls first, and the female tree falls later, is it the female tree the same as humans? Do men work harder than women?
The little ginkgo tree next to it is the child of the ginkgo couple.
The Ginkgo family has become a scene and has become an internet celebrity tree in Beixi Village. Passers-by have to stop to check in and take photos.

The Northern Stream, which passes through the village, originates from the Wuyanling, Baiyantou and Nanpeiling areas at the junction of Yuyao City and Fenghua District. It flows from south to north, so it is called the Northern Stream. It meets the Southern Stream about 500 meters upstream of the village.
Nanxi originates from Wanjingshan and Tielingtouling in the direction of Zhangxi, flowing from north to south, hence the name Nanxi.
The two waters converge, creating the unique landscape style of Beixi Village.

At the convergence of the two streams in the north and south, there is a single-hole stone arch bridge at the mouth of the Beixi River, called Jishan Bridge. It was built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. It has a total length of 12.6 meters and a arch height of 5.3 meters. It has been well preserved so far. It was included in the Yuyao Cultural Relics Protection Unit in 2014.

In the long years, Jishan Bridge is a major transportation route for people in Siming Mountain District to walk.
After the construction of the highway in the 1970s, few people arrived in ancient roads and bridges, and gradually became deserted and lonely.

Three or four hundred meters west of Jishan Bridge, there is also a two-hole stone arch bridge on the North Stream, called Jinsong Bridge. It was built in the early 1970s, and there are slogans unique to that era on the bridge.

In those years, the slogans were shouted loudly, but they couldn't eat enough.
The content of the slogan can only be viewed now and is not suitable for writing it out.
If you have to write it out, you won't be able to post the article.
Now there are many people who dream of returning to the 1960s and 1970s, and Jinsong Bridge should also be protected as a cultural relic.
The happy life of people who can have a full meal began with reform and opening up, and was in line with the world. The train of the times cannot drive back!

Before the 1970s, the core area of Siming Mountain District was not open to roads, and people were far and difficult to get out of the mountains and into the city, and they almost lived a life of isolation from the world.
In 1970, a highway connecting the Siming Mountain District from north to south was built, starting from Hushan Street in Cixi City in the north and ending at Xikou Town in Fenghua District in the south, called Huxi Line Highway.
Jinsong Bridge was built to build the Huxi Line Highway, and played an important role in the north and south running through Siming Mountain.

After the Huxi Line Highway is built, it is narrow and curved, with gravel road surfaces and uneven potholes.
In 2000, the Huxi Line Highway was converted from gravel pavement to asphalt and concrete pavement. The roads have also been widened and renovated many times, and the traffic conditions have been continuously improved.
The original stone arch Jinsong Bridge can no longer meet the widened traffic requirements, so a reinforced concrete road bridge was rebuilt between Jinsong Bridge and Jishan Bridge, and the Jinsong Bridge was abandoned and idle as a landscape bridge.

Jishan Bridge was replaced by Jinsong Bridge, which was replaced by a newly built highway bridge.
The situation of three bridges being parallel, this is a witness to the development and changes of the times, and the travel methods are changing with each passing day.

From Beixi Village, you can go to Fenghua or Yuyao, or go to Shengzhou to go deep into the Siming Mountains, with infinite scenery on the road.
