On September 10, the 17th Suzhou Smart Home Expo with the theme of "AI Empowers and Enjoys Smart Life" opened at the newly launched Suzhou Yuanhetang Convention and Exhibition Center. Representatives from furniture, exhibitions, e-commerce industry associations and enterprises from all levels across the country gathered in Likou to explore new trends in smart homes and draw a new picture of the future of the industry. The passenger flow on the first day exceeded 40,000.

This year's expo has a scale of 45,000 square meters, and has gathered more than 200 high-quality brands, covering the entire industrial chain of smart homes, brand customization, solid wood suites, software home furnishings, office furniture, raw and auxiliary materials, realizing a one-stop closed loop of "supply chain → smart scene → hot product procurement → project implementation", concentrating on presenting the latest industry products and technologies, providing practitioners with trend insights and trade docking platforms. Through the "Exhibition and Market Integration" model, exhibitors and buyers can facilitate direct spot procurement and supply chain optimization, providing business opportunities for the "Golden September and Silver October" procurement season, and injecting strong momentum into the city's consumer market.

At the opening ceremony, the Likou Smart Home E-commerce Live Broadcast Night was launched, which will set off a consumption boom with immersive live broadcast and welfare; the Likou Smart Home Research Center, which integrates "display + trade + R&D + experience", was officially unveiled, and is committed to building a digital home industry agglomeration center, a new retail operation demonstration center and a smart home R&D experience center in the Yangtze River Delta region. A group of home furnishing companies signed contracts and ordered on site to show market vitality. The Likou Smart Home Business District Charity Fund was established to convey humanistic care and social warmth.
It is worth mentioning that this expo relies on the newly launched Suzhou Yuanhetang Convention and Exhibition Center to realize the "door-to-door" exhibition for the first time. In the future, this place will use smart home as the core and exhibition economy as the engine to build a new pattern of "leading production with exhibition and promoting business with production", comprehensively stimulate new vitality in the development of Likou smart home business districts, create the largest "never-ending expo" in East China, empower Xiangcheng Avenue's urban economic development axis, and help the business district economy flourish.

China Likou Furniture Market was founded in 1992 and has become one of the most influential and market-radiating furniture industry centers in the country. At present, China's Likou Furniture Market has 41 large-scale furniture shopping malls and more than 600 street shops, gathering more than 5,000 furniture brands, with sales exceeding 12 billion yuan in 2024.
