On the occasion of the victory of the Long March of the 25th Red Army and the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the revolutionary base in Hubei, Henan and Shaanxi, on the morning of September 8, Lushi County, together with Yunxi County, Hubei Province, Danfeng County, Shaanxi Province and Xichuan County, Henan Province, jointly announced the official launch of the "Traveling through the Long March area and pursuing the red footprints - the Hubei, Henan and Shaanxi Red Tourism Boutique Route". This cross-provincial linkage theme route systematically integrates regional core red resources, integrates red education and ecological culture and tourism, and is open to the public from now on, opening up to the public, opening up a deep experience throughout the revolutionary history and green mountains and rivers for tourists.
On September 8, the first tour team set off from the Hubei-Henan Revolutionary Base Memorial Park in Yunxi County, Hubei Province, and passed through the Yujia River in Danfeng, Shaanxi, and finally extended to many red ruins in the Lu family in Henan Province, and realized the spirit of the Long March in a retracement. The launch of this route is an important step for Lushi County to deepen regional cultural and tourism cooperation and promote the transformation of red resources. It also provides tourists with a characteristic tourism route that integrates revolutionary education, cultural experience and ecological tourism.
In the 1930s, the Red 25th Army fought tenaciously in the Hubei-Henan-Shaanxi Border Region, established a revolutionary base, and wrote a brilliant revolutionary history. Ninety years later, the four counties jointly integrated the rich red resources in the region and created a theme route covering more than 20 key old sites, aiming to guide the public to relive the revolutionary years and inherit the red gene.
Lushi County occupies an important node in this line, including the former site of the Red 25th Army headquarters in Lancao Village, Guanpo Town, the county party committee courtyard, the Lushi County Martyrs Cemetery, and the tomb of Chen Tingxian. It vividly reproduces the arduous struggle of the Red Army and the relationship between the military and civilians. It is a vivid textbook for carrying out party history education and patriotism education.
This line not only relives the glorious years of the Red 25th Army, but also highlights the "immersive" experience characteristics. Visitors can participate in situational activities such as "wearing Red Army uniforms, eating Red Army meals, and listening to Red Army stories" and experience the hardships and optimism of the revolutionary era in multiple dimensions. At the same time, the route runs through the core area of Qinba Mountains, and the high-quality ecological resources of Lushi County also complement the red attractions, realizing the dual experience of "red study and study + green landscape".
Lushi County, as an important part of the construction of the Long March National Cultural Park, will continue to tell red stories and inherit the red genes, and welcome guests from all directions with a more open attitude.
