
Recently, with the excavation of the auxiliary slope and inclined shaft project of the Xi'anshan Iron Mine Project to 4,700 meters, China Railway Tunnel Bureau has achieved success in applying the TBM "Basestone" of the first iron mine in China, creating good conditions for the safe construction of my country's largest single underground iron mine.

According to reports, the construction efficiency of the TBM "Basestone" used in iron mine projects for the first time has been increased by more than three times compared with the traditional drilling and explosion method, but due to long-distance construction ventilation, rock breaking and dust removal, large slope reverse slope drainage, large longitudinal slope horizontal transportation, and cross-construction of TBM and mine methods, it has caused great difficulty to safety risks and construction. To this end, the project team of China Railway Tunnel Bureau adheres to the creative and innovative work attitude, and scientifically proposed the construction method of "zoning support + cross-construction coordination mechanism", further clarifying the boundaries of operation time and space to eliminate process conflicts. At the same time, a real-time communication mechanism across teams has been established to realize construction information sharing and risk prediction in advance, avoid the safety risks of cross-operation, provide replicable management experience for similar projects, achieve "zero accidents" in production safety, and deliver an eye-catching safety answer to the industry.
