The 2025 China International Trade Fair for Services (hereinafter referred to as the "Communications for Trade in Services") opened in Shougang Park, Beijing on the 10th, and many new technologies and new achievements were unveiled.
This year's Trade Fair is themed "Digital Intelligence Leadership, Renewal of Service Trade", focusing on the development trend of digitalization, intelligence and greening of service trade. It will hold 13 thematic forums, 82 special forums, 81 negotiation and promotion activities, and more than 260 domestic and external ministerial guests, heads of international institutions, etc. will participate in the meeting and exchanges and discussions. The conference will also release reports such as the "China Service Trade Development Report". 85 countries and international organizations including Australia, Germany and the World Intellectual Property Organization held exhibitions, of which 25 countries and international organizations held exhibitions in thematic exhibitions.
It is worth mentioning that this year's Trade in Services Fair was held at the "One Site" of Shougang Park for the first time. Through more than 40 colorful supporting activities, a new business format for service consumption will be created; at the same time, a diversified event for the integration of culture, business, tourism and sports will be held, such as art performances, consumer markets, sports events, exchange and cocktail parties, to promote the integrated development of service consumption, service trade and service investment.
The exhibition attracted nearly 2,000 companies to participate offline, including Walmart, AstraZeneca, KPMG and other companies. The overall internationalization rate of the exhibition exceeded 20%, covering 26 top 30 countries and regions in the service trade.
Technology empowerment and digital intelligence leadership have become the core highlights of various special exhibition areas. The special exhibition of telecommunications, computers and information services focuses on cutting-edge fields such as 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), humanoid robots, and displays the innovative achievements of digital service trade and high-end industries; the special exhibition of financial services is themed "Digital Intelligence Driven, Open and Win-win", presenting the innovative vitality and open attitude of China's financial industry under the wave of digitalization in all aspects.
In terms of exhibits, 113 companies will release 198 new products and achievements, covering the world's first 3D-printed polymer anti-fatigue absorbable vascular stent, the world's first 8K-level ultra-high-definition second on-site distribution platform, and the first domestic professional optical quantum computer that exceeds the 100-bit scale, etc., fully demonstrating the innovative strength and development potential of service trade.
