Gansu Province's 2026 Air Force Recruitment of Flight Craftsmen Promotion and Primary Examination Inspection Work Arrangements
According to the work arrangements of the Lanzhou Selection Center of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau, the 2026 Northwest Air Force Recruitment Flight Craftsmen (hereinafter referred to as Recruitment) will be carried out from mid-September. It is planned to adopt the parallel method of online publicity and on-site propaganda and mobilization registration for our province.
(I) Promotional registration work
1. Time schedule:
From mid-September to the end of September 2025 (specific schedules will be notified separately).
2. Promotional methods:
Propaganda registration is carried out through online promotion and school-entry propaganda methods such as "Tencent Conference".
3. Method steps:
(1) Preparation. In early September, the Lanzhou Selection Center of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau asked the education examination and enrollment institutions of each city (prefecture) to guide the corresponding middle school students in the jurisdiction and previous senior high school students to carry out extensive publicity. Use the WeChat public account "Air Force Northwest Recruitment", WeChat mini program "Recruitment Intelligent Inquiry" and consultation telephone numbers (0931-4865353, 8958033) to promptly answer students' parents' questions and publish work arrangements; carry out extensive publicity through campus broadcasts, posters, and brochures, and use class teachers and class groups to spread progressively step by step to fully cover the parent group of senior high school students.
(2) Propaganda and mobilization. The Lanzhou Selection Center of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau carried out online publicity for some schools in Longnan, Pingliang, Qingyang and other cities, while some schools in other cities carried out school admissions; students who are willing to apply and meet the basic conditions can log in to the WeChat mini program "Zhufei Zhiwen" to register or register at the lecture site.
(3) Register online. For other general high schools that are not included in the publicity and mobilization list of the Lanzhou Selection Center of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau, please notify the school to check interested students in accordance with the "Registration Instructions for the Air Force Recruitment of Flying Craftsmen in the 2026 Northwest Provinces (Regionals)" (see Appendix 1). Students who meet the Air Force Recruitment Standards can directly log in to the WeChat mini program "Zhu Fei Zhiwen" to register online.
4. Venue requirements:
Ask relevant schools to reserve a multimedia classroom for the Lanzhou Selection Center of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau, which must be equipped with audio equipment. After the propaganda team arrived at the school, the air force propaganda video was played, policy preaching, physical screening, checking the school's admission status, etc., and registered and compiled students with "five checks" (vision, height, weight, age and cultural scores).
(II) Primary selection inspection work
1. Time schedule: mid-September 2025 to the end of September (specific time schedule will be notified separately).
2. Methods and steps: The Lanzhou Selection Center of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau plans to set up primary testing stations in some cities across the province, and organize registration students to go to the station to participate in the inspection nearby. For specific testing time and station location, the Lanzhou Selection Center of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau will directly coordinate with the relevant city (prefecture) education examination and enrollment institutions.
3. Venue requirements: Please ask the relevant city (state) education examination and enrollment institutions to coordinate a convenient school or office space for the Lanzhou Selection Center of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau to prepare 6 classrooms, including curtains for surgical examinations. The initial selection detection notice shall prevail.

Application arrangements for the recruitment of flight cadets by the five northwestern provinces (regions) in 2026
Air force flight personnel are special talents and valuable resources of the country. The recruitment and training are national behaviors. The recruitment and flight recruitment work is organized and implemented by the Air Force in conjunction with the education and public security departments of relevant provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and is included in the national general college enrollment system. It is an important part of the enrollment work of military colleges and universities.
The Air Force recruits flight cadets and its seven flight recruitment and selection centers under its jurisdiction, and undertakes the flight recruitment tasks of the Air Force and the Army Aviation Force. The Lanzhou Selection Center of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau is mainly responsible for the recruitment of ordinary high school students and military academy graduates in five provinces (autonomous regions).
1. Recruitment targets and registration conditions
The Air Force recruits and selects flight cadets for two types of students, and supplements the Air Force and Army Aviation Forces pilots.
① Boys who are eligible for ordinary high schools and graduated from previous grades must take the college entrance examination of that year.
② Boys who graduated from military colleges and universities.
Age requirements:
① High school graduates are not less than 17 years old and not more than 20 years old (born between August 31, 2006 and August 31, 2009).
② Fresh graduates of military academies shall not exceed 24 years old (as of June 30, 2026).
Physical requirements:
Height is between 165cm-185cm, and the C-shaped vision of both eyes is not less than 0.8 (recommended for self-test vision of E-shaped vision of 4.8 or above), no vision correction surgery, no corneal resizing lens (OK lens), no color blindness, weak color, strabismus, no history of fainting or coma.
Cultural requirements:
① Ordinary high school applicants and past graduates must be science or the first-choice physics candidates (the relevant subjects are required to be issued by the Air Force for the official brochure). The foreign language is English or Russian. The expected college entrance examination scores reach the special type control score line of the province. The college entrance examination scores of candidates in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region must reach the first-tier line of the general program.
② Fresh undergraduate graduates from military colleges must be graduates of science, engineering or military majors, and are expected to obtain the corresponding academic qualifications and degrees.
2. Air Force flight recruitment selection procedure
The Air Force generally has to go through the primary, secondary, and final selection level three selection, and comprehensive selection of the best.
(I) Flying Test
1. Primary selection. It is planned to be conducted from October to November 2025. The Lanzhou Selection Center will set up a testing station in the main source cities (districts) to organize students who meet the basic registration requirements to conduct basic project testing such as ophthalmic vision, surgical body shape, and otolaryngology, for about 0.5 days.
2. Check. It is planned to be held from December 2025 to January of the following year. Students whose expected college entrance examination results reach the special type control score line of the province (autonomous program recruitment line) will be selected from the Lanzhou Selection Center. Medical selection and psychological selection will be organized, and political assessment will be held, which will take about 2-3 days.
3. Select. It is planned to be held from March to June 2026. The Air Force Recruitment Bureau will conduct comprehensive medical and psychological selection on students who meet the recommendation requirements, and will take about 2-3 days. The political assessment of qualified candidates will be conducted in the later stage.
(II) File admission
High school graduates who have passed the medical, psychological selection and political assessment and have all passed the college entrance examination scores and have reached the special type control score line of the province (autonomous program unified recruitment line) can only be enrolled. According to the annual recruitment plan of each province (autonomous region), they can be admitted comprehensively. After admission, we will report to the Air Force Aviation University. We will select some students to become flight students of the Army Aviation Force based on physical and mental qualities.
III. Registration method
Air Force Flying Recruitment Registration starts in September each year.
